Australian Pastafarian Lobby (APL) is not the
Australian Labor Party (ALP)
Thursday, 8th August, 2013
The Australian Pastafarian Lobby (APL) is concerned that many of its members are mistyping the URL of its website (www.apl.org.au), which inadvertently leads them to the ALP website (www.alp.org.au) – and vice-versa. The APL would like to clear up this situation.
APL spokesperson Henry Morgan said “Avast! Our web servers are heaving under the pressure of lost Labor Party seekers, and we suspect our traffic may be causing them technical issues too!”
Although both the APL and ALP are powerful political organisations – the one major difference of opinion is the intrusion of religion into schools.
“Me heartys, evolution by natural selection is the only 100% provable theorem, and only this must be taught in biology class,” Morgan said.
“If schools allow Christian creationism or intelligent design into the classroom, they must also teach intelligent design according to the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Pasta Be Upon Him).
“We believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe while drunk, including a heavenly beer volcano and stripper factory, arrr!”
The APL continues to oppose the introduction of religious counsellors into schools, while the ALP continues to support this destruction of our secular society.
